Speed Check
For streaming TV to work efficiently, ideally you need a stable reliable download speed via your internet connection. For our streaming TV box, the speed should ideally be more than 10Mbps. For the VPN, a little lower, around 8Mbps, will normally be enough.
From previous experience, we have found that satellite broadband and 4G routers are generally compatible with either system. The exception to this would be the newer Starlink system (their optional ethernet adaptor would be required for the VPN router to connect).
So, make sure you are connected to your home internet service and click the GO button to open the Speedtest app and check your speed...
In the example below, this customer has a Fibre connection at their home. You can see the download speed is 460.40 Mbps which is considerably more than required for our systems to work adequately.
